A scarce Yosemite promotional booklet issued by the Nevada Stage Company, touting the advantages of the Big Oak Flat Direct Route.

Includes a map and notes on the wonders to be seen both en route and in the Valley, with engravings of such features as the Dead Giant, the Calveras Group, and the Mammoth Grove Hotel. The map is entiteld Hutchings’ Outline Map of Tourist Travel to the Yo-Semite Valley, Big Tree Groves, Etc. California. The combined railroad and stage route from San Francisco to Yosemite valley is shown in red, with side routes to Calveras Big Trees and South Grove depicted as well. Also included are a timetable and a list of fares for 1881. OCLC records only two copies.
