An important Revolutionary War era map, published less than a month after the Declaration of Independence, based on two landmark surveys of the colonies, Claude Sauthier’s large-scale manuscript map of New York (which was subsequently published under the title Chorographical Map of the Province of New-York) and Bernard Ratzer’s survey of New Jersey.

CONDITION: Very good, usual center fold, bit of creasing and minor spotting.
