A poster advertising Stetson’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin, advising the public to “Wait for the Big Show” rather than patronizing the falsely advertising “parasites” who were apparently attempting to capitalize on Stetson’s imminent appearance in town. A sheet attached to the bottom of the broadside announces a performance date of Monday, Feb. 4 (the 4th fell on a Monday in 1895), and trumpets such features as “Genuine Cake Walkers,” Blood Hounds,” and a “Colored Female Drum and Bugle Corps.”

CONDITION: Good, expertly filled loss to margin and portions of some letters in uppermost line of text.
