The Grant Park, Florida, Land Company : Handsome Cottages On your Own Lots, at a Low Price, on the Installment Plan.

A scarce prospectus for new homes in Florida, with eight house elevations and eight “ground” or floor plans. All cottages are described as lathed and plastered, include verandas, and range in price from $570 to $1000, “Costs all Complete.” Prospective buyers are advised: “Don’t live another winter in this cold climate. Go to the land where every day is bright and pleasant. Read about these cheap homes for the millions of winter-freezing people of the North.” The Grant Park Land Company had offices in New York, Chicago, and Ocala, Fla. The only Grant Park in Florida that we have been able to locate is a section of East Tampa. However, with the company office in Ocala, it is unclear whether there is any relationship between this prospectus and Grant Park in Tampa.
