An impressive brochure and itinerary for Southern Railway System tour of the Battle of Chickamauga battlefield with five routes noted through Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia to Chattanooga. Includes detailed accounts of various aspects of the battle (corresponding to segments of the tour); nine monuments are pictured; also entrances to the park, head-quarter locations, and views. The full-color battlefield map shows the “Location of Chattanooga, National Cemetery, National Military Park, and Battlefields of Chickamauga, Lookout Mountain, Missionary Ridge, Orchard Knob and Wauhatchie”; also includes five Southern Railway System routes through the terrain. The double-page color map illustrates seven railways and railroads, all part of the Southern Railway System, ranging from Boston in the N.E., south to Palatka, Fla.; west to Galveston and north to Omaha.

CONDITION: Light wear at extremities, light soiling on cover with full-color map.
