The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America.

Boston: L.H. Bridgham, 1836. Engraving, 5.75” x 4.5”, coated stock paper. CONDITION: Good, recto with some foxing, slightly soiled, toning to edges; verso with some soiling and residual glue at corners from mounting in scrapbook.

This is the earliest miniature printing of the Declaration of Independence described by Bidwell and is very likely the first miniature version printed. It consists of the text of the Declaration and facsimile signatures within an ornamental border incorporating a portrait of George Washington and the seals of the thirteen United States.
